Women's Track & Field

2014

Sheffer was a member of the Pirate track & field team. 

2013

Sheffer posted a season best throw of 26.97 at the SCAC Championships to earn All-SCAC honors. She was also named the SCAC Field Athlete-of-the-Week on April 16^th. 

2012 (First-year)

Sheffer was a member of the 4x400 Relay team that finished 7th at the SCAC Championships. She also set the first ever Southwestern record in the high jump with a height of 1.37 meters, a jump that ranked her 14th in the SCAC.

High School

Cara earned varsity letters in field hockey, basketball, volleyball, and track while competing for the Owls.  Cara was a two time All-Conference selection in basketball and track and was named the MVP for basketball during her junior and senior years.  She was also named the MIP for offense in field hockey her senior year.

Personal

Cara is the daughter of Rick and Lori and has two siblings, Matthew and Marissa.  Cara is currently undecided as to her major at SU.
