Swimming and Diving Hosts Colorado College and Centenary

GEORGETOWN, Texas — Southwestern University men's and women's swimming and diving hosted Colorado College and Centenary for the home opener. 

Henry McClure earned the men's lone win, placing first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.36. 

The Pirates scored a win in the 400-yard medley relay with the team of Emma Frey, Natalie Gierat, Jesse Stovall, and Zoe Garcia clocking in at 4:12.40. In the 400-yard freestyle relay, Stovall, Adi Shepherd, Delaney Anthony, and Emma Williams won with a time of 3:46.73.

Southwestern also took the top three spots in the 50-yard freestyle led by Stovall's time of 24.79. Frey claimed the top spot in the 100-yard freestyle with a finals time of 56.33. Gierat won the 200-yard backstroke, clocking in at 2:38.68. 

The Pirates will compete again on Saturday against Colorado College and Centenary.
