Rosa earned four letters in swimming at Lubbock High School. She was team captain in 2014 and was an Honorable Mention All-State selection all four years. Rosa is a member of the National Honor Society and was named to the Academic All-State team in 2013 and 2014.
Personal
Marissa is the grand-daughter of LaDonna Veal. She is majoring in psychology at Southwestern.
