2012-13 (Junior)

Alpini competed primarily in the free and butterfly events for the Pirates. The 50 free team swam to a time of :26.00 at the SCAC Championships while the 100 free team finished with a 57.66 at the Austin College Invitational. The 200 fly relay and 200 IM relay teams best swam to a season best at the SCAC Championships with a mark of 2:19.33 in the fly and 2:26.58 in the IM.

2011-12 (Sophomore)

Alpini was a member of two relay teams for the Pirates at the SCAC Championships. The 200 Free Relay team swam a 1:39.55, placing third and the 400 Free Relay team placed second with a time of 3:38.99, both of these times broke Southwestern records. Alpini also swam with on the 400 Medley Relay team that placing fifth at the SCAC Championships. 

2010-11 (First-year)

Alpini was a member of the 200 free relay that took 13th at the SCAC Championships with a time of 1:45.96 and was a member of the 400 medley relay that shaved eight seconds off their seed time to earn a 14th place finish at the SCAC Championships.

High School

Sarah, a four year letterman for the Wildcats, was a two-time regional qualifier as well a a two-time regional finalist.  She was also a member of the district champion swim team and was named the most valuable swimmer her senior year. 

Personal

Sarah is the daughter of Gianfranco and Aliza and has two sisters, Helene and Sally.  Sarah is majoring in biology with a minor in studio art at SU.
