Pirates named Scholar All-America team on Wednesday

GEORGETOWN, Texas – The Southwestern University men's swimming and diving team was designated a Scholar All-America team, the College Swimming & Diving Association of America (CSCAA) announced on Wednesday.

The Pirates, under the direction of head coach Jon Duncan, posted a 3.03 GPA in the spring semester.

To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America team, programs must have achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the spring semester.

Additionally, Southwestern junior Shelby Hall earned honorable-mentiona Scholar All-America honors from the same organization.
