2011 (First-year)

Budde finished 77th at the SCAC Championships running a time of 28:02.65. Her best run came at the Texas DIII Cross Country Championships with a time of 26:44.9.

High School Information

While playing three different sports at Geneva, Budde earned many academic and athletic awards including:  Academic All-State 2008-2010 Cross-Country: TAPPS 1A State Champion 2008, 2009. TAPPS 1A State Runner-up 2010. Track&Field: 1600m TAPPS State Champion 2009, 2010 800m TAPPS State Champion 2010, 2011 300m Hurdles State Runner-up 2011 2000m Steeple chase 5th AAU Nationals Regionals High Point 2010 TAAF Female Athlete of the Year 2008 Team State Champions 2010 and 2011 Team Runner-ups 2009 Basketball: TAPPS 1A State Champions 2010 -All-District -Honorable Mention All-State TAPPS 1A State Runner-ups 2011 -All-District -2nd Team All-State.

Personal

Kyrsten is the daughter of  Pete and Kathy Budde and siblings to Christopher, Nicole, and Brandon. Kyrsten is a Animal Behavior and Psychology major with a Kinesiology
minor at SU.
