Women's Lacrosse Rallies to Take Down Elizabethtown

GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - The Southwestern women's lacrosse team came into their matchup against Elizabethtown on a five-game winning streak, facing a Blue Jays team that was 3-1 on the season. The Pirates found themselves down by three goals early in the third quarter as their offense struggled in the first half. The Pirates took over on the draw in the second half, winning valuable possessions. The extra possessions for Southwestern kickstarted their offense, scoring seven goals in the second half. 

The Pirates were tied 9-9 for seven minutes in the fourth quarter before DeAnna Hames scored the game-winning goal in the final thirty seconds off the assist from Sydney Nakaoki.
