Pirates Show Strong Against Division III at Incarnate Word Invitational

The Pirates dominated all but one division III school on Saturday in San Antonio.  Trinity University, meet winner, was the only DIII team to total fewer points than the Pirates who led Howard Payne University by 100 points, Concordia University by 199 points, and Sul Ross State by 212 points.  The Pirates finished 6th overall.

Lilly Duarte earned a 5th place overall finish with a time of 20:12.  Kara Koinis finished in 29th with a time of 21:54.9.  Krysten Budde finished in 23:48.6 for a 52nd place finish.  Meg Greenfield finished in 54th place with a time of 23:51.1 and Priscila Hernandez finished in 64th with a time of 24:43.7.  Allie Beito finished in 65th with a time of 24:49.9.  Rounding out the top finishers for the Pirates was Christina Hadly who finished in 68th thanks to a finish of 25:09.07.

The Pirates will next compete at the Concordia University Invitational on October 15 in Cedar Park, TX.
