Senior Tami Warner led the way for the Pirates at the UT-Tyler
Invitational with a second place finish. Southwestern finished
fourth out of six teams with 96 points.
Warner (pictured) led the way for Southwestern with a time of
20:18.67. She was followed by first-year Christina Hadly who took
11th place in a time of 21:53.37. Junior Lili McEntire came in 22nd
place and ran in a time of 24:00.17 and First year Laura Wooden
finished in a time of 24:09.93 to round out the top 25 in the race.
Dianna Urrego placed in 29th in a time of 24:52.18.
The Pirates will next compete in the Texas DIII Championship on
September 26th held in Seguin, Texas.
