GEORGETOWN, Texas – The Southwestern University football team will close out a two-game road trip when it faces Oklahoma Panhandle State on Saturday in Goodwell, Okla. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. at Carl Wooten Field.
The Pirates (2-3) are coming off a 35-28 victory over Austin College last Saturday in Sherman. Junior defensive end Justin Broussard paced SU with nine tackles (seven solos), including three for loss, and two sacks en route to being named Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Meanwhile, the Aggies (2-2) have won back-to-back contests, including a 69-20 drubbing of Bacone last weekend.
