The Southwestern men's and women's cross country teams released their 2022 schedule, which opens with a dual meet against Texas Lutheran on Saturday, September 3, in Seguin, Texas. 

Next, Southwestern will host multiple teams with McMurry, Trinity, Texas Lutheran, Mary Hardin-Baylor, and Schreiner confirmed so far on campus on Saturday, September 17, starting at 8:45 a.m. The following Friday, the Pirates will travel to compete in the Concordia Cross Country Classic. The men placed fourth last season, led by Noah Dennis's seventh-place individual finish. The women had one top 30 individual finish. 

The Pirates will travel to Boston, Massachusetts, to compete in the Suffolk Invitational at Franklin Park on Saturday, October 15. The meet will be the Pirates' final tuneup before the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championships. 

Southwestern will host this year's SCAC Championships on campus on Saturday, October 29, with a 9:30 a.m. start. Whitworth University hosts the NCAA DIII West Regionals in Spokane, Washington.
