Two Southwestern Pirates Make SCAC All-Conference Team in Championships
 
KERRVILLE, Texas - The Southwestern Pirate's John Hattan and Josh Im made the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) All-Conference team in the 2018 Cross Country Championships. 
 
Hattan and Im, who have been the standout runners of the season, came to ready to run this early morning in Kerrville. Hattan, who had claimed SCAC Runner of the Week earlier in the year, finished sixth out of 69 runners, with a time of 26:27.591. Only 24 seconds behind, Im would finish in 14th place with a time of 27:03.486.  Their performance in today's meet, as well as the other meets throughout the year, made both Hatton and Im solid choices for the SCAC All-Conference team. 
 
Other standout runners such as Miles Griffin (28:31.862),  Will Lord (28:41.910), Nathan Botros (29:14.034) C.p. Shaulis (29:27.073) and Austin Morrison (29:30.224) contributed to a total of 104 points to help the Pirates land fourth place in the SCAC Championships. 
 
Southwestern's team, led by Head Coach Andrew Diehl, ended their season with great team accomplishments and strong growth to go into the next year.
