GEORGETOWN, Texas – Southwestern University senior Brandon Fleischmann was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week, it was announced on Tuesday morning.

Fleischmann, who was named SCAC Defensive Player of the Week a day earlier, led the Pirates defense to a 35-0 victory at Austin College Saturday.

The Roanoke native logged 10 total tackles, including 3.5 for loss, and two sacks. He also broke up a pair of pass attempts and logged two quarterback hurries.

Fleischmann and the rest of the Southwestern team will host Trinity for Homecoming Saturday. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. at Birkelbach Field. Prior to the game, the Pirates will honor their 34 seniors.
