2013
 Cole played in all 10 games for the Pirates at linebacker. His 7.5 tackles for a loss was third best on the team as he also added 47 tackles on the year and 1.0 sack. He had a season-high 10 tackles in the finale at Southern Virginia while also adding 1 pass breakup.

High School
 Cole was a two-time all-district selection on the defensive side of the ball and was voted team captain at Bridge City High. He was named all-Orange County twice and academic all-state as a senior. He was also a member of the track and field team and a four-year letterman in power lifting.

Personal
 Zach is the son of Kelly and Stephanie Cole. He plans to major in kinesiology at Southwestern.
