Southwestern students, faculty and staff can pick-up their complimentary ticket(s) for this week's game versus Texas Lutheran University starting Wednesday, Septmeber 4th.  Tickets will be available for pick-up at the Corbin J. Robertson Center student proctor desk, Wednesday, September 4, 2013 - Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 8 a.m. – 11 p.m. or Friday, September 4, 2013 at 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. (unless otherwise noted). Students, faculty and staff must bring their SU Pirate Card to be issued tickets. 

Seats are assigned on a first come, first served basis with faculty/staff receiving two complimentary tickets and students receiving one ticket.  For questions regarding tickets or football game days, please contact Nekisha Quinney at 863-1384 orquinneyn@southwestern.edu. 

 

TAILGATING INFO

Socialize with friends prior to each home game at the Georgetown ISD Stadium parking lot in the designated tailgating area. Tailgating will begin four hours prior to kick-off of each home game. Official tailgating policies are posted on the Pirate Athletics website. One tailgate spot is $10 (or two for $15) - cash only please - and can be reserved on a first come, first served basis. Each tailgater must have a game day ticket, which can be purchased upon arrival for tailgating. Tailgaters over the age of 21 can also socialize at CJ's Sports Bar Pirate Cove (their tent is within walking distance of the official tailgating area). Please remember public display and consumption of alcoholic beverages on the grounds of a public school in the state of Texas is prohibited. To see the location of the designated tailgating area, click here.

Parking
If you do not plan to tailgate, parking is free in the general admission parking area. Click here to see the Birkelbach Stadium parking map. 

 

Quick Facts

Southwestern Students Receive: 1 Student General Admission Ticket

Southwestern Faculty and Staff Receive: 2 Adult General Admission Tickets

Children under the age of 2 years old do not require a ticket

Additional tickets can be purchased the day of the game at the GISD stadium for $8.

The Southwestern Football Show with Joe Austin: A weekly interactive coach's show every Wednesday at 8 p.m. hosted by K-MAC Sports at Burger University. The first two shows previewed the upcoming season before taking a two week break for the Pirates' fall camp.
