Kimberly Long Harmer ‘92 - Inducted -  2008

Kimberly Long Harmer currently stands as the only three-time All-American, male or female, in the history of Southwestern University intercollegiate athletics. During her career, Kimberly helped lead her team to the NAIA National Tournament four straight years, highlighted by a third place finish in the National Tournament in 1989.  The other three appearances were almost as impressive with the 1988, 1990, and the 1991 teams finishing tied for fifth in the nation.  The teams that Kimberly played on during her four year career had a combined record of 143 wins against only 42 losses. Along the way, Kimberly served as a team captain and garnered multiple individual awards as she was named to the NAIA All-America Teams in 1988, 1990, and 1991.  The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) named her as a 1st Team All-American in both 1988 and 1989.  She also received multiple All-Tournament honors, including being named All-Tournament at the NAIA National Championship.  Kimberly graduated from Southwestern University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
