2011-12 (Sophomore)

Leeder continued her great play for the Pirates in her Sophomore season averaging a team high 31.0 minutes per game. She was fourth in the SCAC in scoring, averaging 17.0 points per contest. She broke two of her own SU records, 3pt field goals made (70) and 3pt field goals attempted (207) in a season. She was second on the team in free-throw percentage shooting 76.1% and she led the Pirates in blocks with 27. Leeder was named the SCAC Player-of-the-Week on November 21. Chelsea was the second player in SU history named to the SCAC All-Tournament Team and the second Southwestern player named to the All-SCAC First Team. 

2010-11 (First-year)

Leeder had a sensational first season with the Pirates, averaging 31.9 minutes and 13.7 points per game. She was second on the team in scoring, field goals made and led the team in made three pointers with 61 and steals at 2.4 per game. Leeder was also second on the team averaging 6.4 rebounds  and 2.7 assists per game. For her efforts she was named as the SCAC Newcomer-of-the-Year and Honorable Mention selection.

High School

Chelsea comes to Southwestern after earning four varsity letters in basketball, four vasity letters in track and volleyball, and one varsity letter in softball.  She was a McDonald's All American nominee, a two time district offensive MVP, led the district in points per game and total points in both her junior and senior years, and was a two time team MVP and captain.  Chelsea was a four time All District selection and a two time All East Texas selection. 

Personal

Chelsea is the daughter of Alan and Jan and has three brothers, Chris, Collin, and Cory.  Chelsea is a psychology major with a chemistry minor at SU.
