2011-12
Fareed played in 26 games for the Pirates, averaging 27.6 minutes and 12.1 points per contest. She led the team in 3pt field goal percentage (38.5%) and led Southwestern with 1.7 steals per game. Fareed was named the SCAC Player-of-the-Week on February 13 and was named to the All-SCAC Third Team for her play in 2011-12.
2010-11
Fareed started all 27 contests this season for the Pirates, averaging 31.4 minutes and 13.6 points per game. She was third on the team in scoring and led in three point percentage among active shooters at 37.2 percent and assists with 3.3 per game. Fareed was selected to the All-SCAC Second team.
2009-2010 (First Season)
After joining the Pirates halfway through the season, Fareed appeared in 17 games for the Pirates...averaged 5.6 points and 0.9 rebounds per contest...shot 45.2% (14-31) from behind the arc and 85.2% (23-27) from the free throw line...had 7 assists, one block, and 12 steals on the year...named to the SCAC Spring 2010 Sudent-Athlete Academic Honor Roll...inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society.
High School
Anna is a 2007 graduate of Kingwood High School where she was named defensive player of the year twice and was a 1st team All-District team member. Anna is a transfer from Schriener University where she was named to the American Southwest Conference All-Freshmen Team.
Personal
Anna is the daughter of Joe and Qamar. She has two siblings, Mona and Reem. Anna is a Business major and Excersise Science and Sports Studies minor.
