Men's Cross Country Competes In Oberlin College Inter-Regional Rumble

OBERLIN, Ohio — The Southwestern men's cross country team competed in the Oberlin College Inter-Regional Rumble, placing 27th in the field with a total time of 2:26:48, finishing with an average of 29:21 and score of 807. 

Brian Armijo ran a 27:55.0 to pace the Pirates (108th), averaging  5:36.9 mile. Noah Dennis followed with a time of 28:40.8 (172nd), then C.P. Shaulis at 28:48.5 (183rd) to round out the Southwestern runners who finished under 30 minutes. 

Nathan Botros clocked in at 30:14.3 (249th), followed by Doug Ginsberg at 31:09.6 (265th), Luke Markey (274th) at 31:29.9, Andrew Cutting at 32:25.5 (289th), and Gannon Hall at 34:25.8 (304th).

In two weeks, Southwestern will compete in the SCAC Championships in San Antonio, Texas, on Oct. 30, hosted by Trinity University.
