
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference released the 2024 All-Conference Women's Tennis team on Wednesday, following voting by the league's head coaches and sports information directors. The Southwestern women's tennis program claimed six All-SCAC spots, including one First Team All-Conference selection in both singles and doubles. The Pirates were led in conference voting by junior Erika Synoski, who was named First Team All-SCAC for her performance in the 2023-2024 season. Synoski garnered a 13-6 record for the year and was 5-0 against conference opponents throughout the season. Junior Valeria Gracia and senior Sydney Wahl took First Team All-SCAC honors in doubles, going 3-1 in conference play and 6-2 on the season as a duo.
The Pirates received the most Second Team All-SCAC players out of any school, placing three athletes on the list. Wahl was also named Second Team All-SCAC in singles, joined by her teammates, sophomore Daryl Locke and sophomore Kimberly Duncan.
