GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - The Southwestern Men's and Women's Tennis teams traveled to Sherman, TX to take on the Austin College Roos for their 2024 Season Opener on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 5:30 PM. The Pirates beat the Roos, 9-0. 

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Mary Young and Lydia Lee won their doubles match 8-0. 
• Erika Synoski and Sydney Wahl closed out their doubles match 8-1. 
• Lydia Lee and Sydney Wahl each won their singles match, 6-0, 6-0. 
• Hattie Berend won her singles match, 6-0, 6-2. 
• Daryl Locke won her singles match, 6-2, 6-3. 

Notes:

• Hattie Berend and Daryl Locke won their doubles match by forfeit, along with Kimberly Duncan and Valeria Gracia in their singles matches.  

NEXT UP: 

The Pirates travel to play both the University of Dallas and Texas-Dallas in a Double-Header on Saturday, February 17th at 11am and 3:00pm.
