GEORGETOWN, TEXAS- Southwestern University's Women's Tennis schedule has been released for Spring of 2024. 

Making her head coaching debut with the Pirates, Coach Nyssa Peele eagerly awaits their first match in February. She had this to say about her upcoming season, "The Women's Tennis team is excited to kick off a competitive 2024 spring season. This Spring break, we are hosting top nationally ranked schools from the East coast for an exciting week of competitive tennis. In March, we will have an opportunity to compete against three nationally ranked teams in Fredericksburg, VA. I am looking forward to seeing you all out at our home matches. Go Pirates!"

February 2nd, 2024, UT Rio Grande Valley will make the trip to Georgetown for the Pirates first match of the season. The following week, they host Texas Permian-Basin before traveling for the rest of the month against St. Thomas, Austin College, Texas-Dallas, and the University of Dallas. March 11-15, the Pirates will host Swarthmore, Chicago, Skidmore, and Wesleyan (Conn.). The Pirates then hit the road for matches against Case Western Reserve, Mary Washington, Gustavus Adolphus, Mary Hardin-Baylor, and Washinton (Mo.). 

The Pirates will host Concordia Texas, Hardin-Simmons, Schreiner, East Texas Baptist to kick off April. They will finish up their travel for the year playing Texas Lutheran, Our Lady of the Lake, and Trinity before hosting Colorado College on April 21st. 

This year's SCAC Tournament will be hosted by Austin College in Sherman, TX April 26-28.
