Women's Tennis Cracks Top 20 For First Time In Program History

The Southwestern University Pirates women's tennis team wraps up its season by moving into the top 20 for the first time in program history, finished at No. 20 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) polls.

The ITA Rankings are determined by coaches polling, covering the top 40 teams in the nation.

Southwestern opened the season ranked No. 22 and climbed to No. 21 on March 5. With competition cancelled for the rest of spring, the Pirates end their season with a 7-1 record, in including 4-1 on the road and 1-1 versus nationally ranked opponents.
