2008-2009 [Junior Year]
Had a solid junior year finishing in a tie for 15th place at the
NCAA Championships out of 111 golfers at 33 over par
(76-81-83-81)...came in fifth place at the SCAC Championships with
a 34 over par (86-81-83) performance...best finish of the year was
at the ConCan Intercollegiate Classic where she finished fourth out
of 44 golfers at 17 over par (81-82)...All-SCAC First Team...NGCA
All-Region Team...Chi Alpha Sigma recipient.
2006-2007 [First Year]
Davenport received NGCA All-Region honors in her rookie
campaign...she racked up four top-five finishes and three times she
was the Pirates top finisher, winning one individual title at the
UMHB Fall Invitational...she was a All-SCAC Second team performer
placing 9th at the SCAC Championships shooting 28 over par (88-84)
for a 172...helping her team to a fourth place finish at the NCAA
DIII Championships, she shot a 328 (+36) tying for the 21 spot in
just her rookie year.
High School
Davenport was a four year letterman and won the Most Improved
Award in 2005, was an All-District, All-Region and All-State
selection in 2006, graduated Summa Cum Laude and was National Merit
Commended for the Tigers at Mansfield HS.
Personal
Kristen is the daughter of Tyler and Shannon Davenport...has one
brother - Erik...is majoring in Psychology and has a minor in
communications at SU.
