Four Pirates Named WGCA All-American Scholars

The Women's Golf Coaches Association announced its 2021 All-American Scholars, naming Mikayla Childers, Linsey Garza, Madison Miller, and Katherine Montgomery of the Southwestern women's golf team among the 1,432 recipients.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.

This is the second WGCA All-American Scholar award for sophomores Montgomery, Garza, and Miller. Childers receives her first award in her first year. The trio of sophomores also earned All-SCAC Second Team honors this season, helping Southwestern to a second-place finish at the SCAC Championships.
