NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The 2009 SCAC Men's and Women's Tennis Tournament returns to the Burns Park Tennis Center in North Little Rock, Ark., for the second time in five years.
The Pirates received the sixth seed and face Millsaps in the opening round Friday at 11. On the men's side, the Pirates are seeded seventh and face Austin College Friday morning at 8.
The men's and women's champion will also receive the league's automatic qualification to the NCAA National Tournament.
Last season, the DePauw University men and women swept the team titles as the SCAC sent five teams to NCAA postseason play.
