Went 6-7 in singles action and 5-7 in doubles matches in her third
season with the Pirates...All-SCAC Honorable Mention
2006-2007 [First Year]
Pennington was named to the All-SCAC Tennis Team...she played her
entire rookie season for the Pirates in the number one singles spot
and posted a 13-7 record...in doubles play with her partner,
Michelle Tompkins, she also went 13-7 in the #1 flight.
High School
Pennington was a 1st Team All-District selection in 2004, was a
Regional Finalist in 2004 and was a State Finalist in tennis in
2005 for the Chargers at Churchill HS in San Antonio, TX.
Personal
Mary is the daughter of Thomas and Doris Pennington...has three
sisters - Jamie, Melissa and Kimberly...is a chemistry major at SU.
