Southwestern Places 85 Athletes on SCAC Academic Honor Roll

SUWANEE, Ga. -- The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll for the 2023 fall term and 541 student-athletes made the list - representing the highest fall total since 2011-12. 

Since its inception in the fall of 1997, over 34,000 male and female student-athletes have been recognized for their contributions in the classroom.

To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 for the term and be a regular member of a varsity athletic team in a sport sponsored by the conference.

Southwestern University placed 85 of its student-athletes on the list which was the third highest among all SCAC schools.
