"It was a bit of mixed results for us this year at the regional meet. Both teams achieved some of our primary goals, to beat a couple SCAC teams who finished ahead of us at the conference meet, but we didn't quite reach the heights we're capable of. I take a lot of responsibility for that because this group of athletes does everything I ask of them in training and works very hard, At first glance, before I do a deep dive and analyze the plan from this season, we might have peaked a few weeks too early and just didn't have the legs we needed to. As frustrating as that is for the athletes and myself, this season was still very successful in a lot of ways that we are proud of. Now it's time to take a rest and recharge before track training starts after Thanksgiving Break," recapped Coach Sponsel.
