Steve Campbell joined the Southwestern staff in January 2023 as an Associate Director of Athletic Marketing & Digital Media. 

A native of Sherwood, Oregon, Steve Campbell moved to Texas in Summer of 2021.

Prior to moving to Texas, Steve served 5 years as an Athletic Director and Coach for Aplus Charter Schools in Maricopa, AZ. He built a cross country and track program from the ground up and also coached basketball. 

Campbell graduated from George Fox University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Business & Marketing while also playing basketball for the Bruins. Immediately after College, Steve Campbell worked for Sportsone Inc. and traveled the United States putting gameday events on for the NFL, NCAA, Nike, and Safeway. He then moved to Bend, OR to coach basketball at Summit High School and he also was a Sales and Marketing Manager for CvInternational where he managed projects with Boeing, Lockheed-Martin, and the Military. 

Most recently, Steve Campbell is Director of Operations and Partnerships for Olympian triathlete Andy Potts. Assisting with managing social media, Steve also coaches endurance athletes across the country and organizes camps at various Olympic Training Centers in the United States. 

In his free time, Steve enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Brie and 2 year old son, Maddox. They are expecting their second child in Summer 2023.
