The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released the 2022 All-Academic Teams and Scholar-Athletes, naming the Southwestern men's and women's tennis programs to the All-Academic Team and 18 Southwestern student-athletes as Scholar-Athletes.

The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale. All varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year and must be listed on the institutional eligibility form. 

In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must meet the following criteria: 1.) be a varsity letter winner, 2.) have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale), and 3.) be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
