Schneemann Named SCAC Women's Tennis Singles Player of the Week

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Junior Anna Schneemann of the Southwestern University women's tennis team has been named the SCAC Women's Tennis Singles Player of the Week for matches played through Sunday, February 25th. 

Schneemann won her only singles match of the week, helping the Pirates to a win over 5-4 win against Millsaps College on the road. Schneemann competed at the No. 3 line, defeating Morgan Jenkins 6-4, 6-0. With the win, she moves to 3-0 this spring at the third line.

She also earned a win at No. 2 doubles with partner Mary Cardone, earning a 8-0 win.
