Schneemann selected as SCAC Co-Player of the Week

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Southwestern University first-year Anna Schneemann was selected as Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Co-Player of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Schneemann helped the Pirates to a pair of victories last week, running the team's win streak to seven matches.

The San Angelo native collected three wins during the week and posted a 2-0 mark at No. 2 singles. Schneemann teamed up with Emilie Moeller for a 1-1 ledger at No. 1 doubles.

Schneemann and the rest of the Southwestern squad return to action Wednesday at Mary Hardin-Baylor.
