Ryleigh Erickson Named SCAC Women's Golfer of the Week

GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Ryleigh Erickson, a senior from McAllen, Texas, has been selected as the SCAC Women's Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played through Tuesday, March 26. This marks the third time in Erickson's career she has been named SCAC Women's Golfer of the Week and the second time in 2023-2024.

Erickson concluded the Jekyll Island Intercollegiate in solo sixth place, firing scores of 77 or better in each of her three rounds (76, 76, 77) for a final tally of 229. Erickson was eighth in the elite 102-person field in scoring on par fours, averaging 4.23 shots over the course of three rounds.
