Southwestern takes third at Alamo Classic

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Southwestern women's golf closed out their fall season with a strong, third place finish at the Alamo Classic at The Quarry Golf Club. 

SU posted a 329 on day to to finish with a combined team score of 663. Keeley Coburn continued to lead the Pirates and finished in seventh overall with 156 strokes (76-80). Bernice Leonard took nine strokes off her first round to come in tied for 19th with 171 strokes (90-81). Mikayla Miller was close behind with a 172 (89-83) and in 22nd, Valentina Olivieri finished in 23rd (80-93) and Katherine Dyo in a tie for 24th (89-85). 

The Alamo Classic marks the end of the fall competition season for Southwestern. They return to action on February 29th at the Schreiner Spring Shootout in Kerrville, Texas at the Comanche Trace Golf Club.
