A pair of Pirates earned top 20 finishes as Bernice Leonard and Lauren Boone finished tied for 16th. Boone began with a first day 89, but shot 76 on day two to finish at 165, while Leonard started the tournament hot with a 79 but cooled with an 86 on day two.

Mary Hardin-Baylor finished second in the team standings while Tyler Junior College placed third.

Southwestern takes a couple weeks off before returning to action October 14-15 at the Dallas Baptist Golf Classic. The tournament in Dallas is the final fall tournament for the Pirates who open their spring season March 3 at the Concordia Invitational.
