Walden attended St. Edward's University and played on the women's golf team for two seasons.

A 2009 graduate of Monroe County High School in Tompkinsville, KY, Walden finished in the top 10 at the State Tournament. She is also an Honor Student for the Falcons.

Ali is the daughter of John and Bevery Walden and is majoring in political science with minors in chinese and psychology.
