Spencer is in his first season with the tennis program, also plays soccer for the Pirates.

Soccer Career
2007 [Junior Year]
Spencer had a break out season for the Pirates starting 20 of 20 matches in his junior campaign...led the team in goals with 10 and points with 21...was tied for third in points in the SCAC with 15 (7 goals and one assist)...scored three game winning goals on the season...scored two goals vs. Austin College on Oct. 12 and had two goals vs. Millsaps College (Sept. 23)...for his efforts on the pitch was named to the All-SCAC Third Team as a forward, an ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District selection and was selected by his team for the Most Improved Player award for the 2007 season.

2006 [Sophomore Year]
Spencer started one match and appeared in 13 games in his first season as a Pirate...scored 2 goals and had one assist on the year...tied for fifth in scoring on the team with 5 points...made his college debut vs. UT-Tyler (Sept. 1) and his first collegiate start vs. Colorado College (Sept. 29)...scored his first collegiate points on a goal vs. Millsaps in a 5-0 victory (Sept. 22).

2005 [First Year]
Spencer attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

High School
Spencer was the team captain, an All-District Pick, 3rd Team Academic All-State, District Offensive MVP...also lettered in tennis at Huntsville HS.

Josh is the son of Casey and Colleen Spencer...born on September 12, 1985...has one brother - James and two sisters - Cherish and Crystal...is majoring in Business and Economics.
