GEORGETOWN, TEXAS- The Pirates traveled to swim a mile high in a dual meet versus Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Both the Men's and Women's swimming and diving teams participated in the two-meet and the Pirates welcomed the opportunity to race at this beautiful, yet challenging venue.
Eli Allen was able to get the overall win in the 50 Meter Freestyle in 21.65 on Friday. Southwestern's 200 Meter Freetstyle Relay, consisting of Eli Allen, Owen Rodrigue, Marc Galindo, and Sebastian Ortiz, won with a time of 1:28.56. On Saturday, Ellie Samples kicked things off for the Pirates with a win in the 200 Meter Freestyle with a winning time of 2:01.83. Eli Allen won the 50 Meter Freestyle again, with a time of 21.88.
Griffin Salinas broke both school records in the 1M and 3M Dives.
