ORLANDO, Fla. - Southwestern University Sports Information Director Megan Hardin received the 'Rising Star' award last week at the annual College Sports Information Directors of America conference at the Orlando World Center Marriott.
Hardin, who has been the SID at Southwestern since 2009, was one of two SIDs honored by the national organization with the 'Rising Star' award. The award is presented to both a university division and a college division members with 10 years of service or less whose work at their institution and service, dedication, energy and enthusiasm to the profession make that individual a 'rising star' in athletic communications.
