Lynn enters her third season as the Southwestern University Head softball coach. Coach Lynn has led the Pirate softball program to two SCAC Tournament appearances in her tenure as head coach as well as garnering 14 All-Conference selections in two seasons. 

Lynn came to Southwestern after having helmed the Schreiner University program from 2019 - 2021, the Mountaineers posted a 17-7 conference record over Lynn's tenure. Before Schreiner, Lynn was an assistant softball coach at Marian University in Wisconsin from 2016-2019. Lynn was part of a coaching staff that led Marian to its best three-year stretch in program history, advancing to the team's first Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference  (NACC) championship game since 2008 in 2017. A year later, they were the NACC regular-season champions. 

Lynn is from Round Rock, Texas, and played four years for the Concordia University Tornados softball team from 2011-2014, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 2014. In addition, she served two years as the graduate assistant at Concordia, earning her Master of Education degree in 2016. 

Southwestern went 20-21 overall last season, earning their first SCAC Tournament win since 2019.
