Sarah Palmer

Palmer joined Southwestern University as assistant volleyball coach in June 2016 after an illustrious playing career at the University of Texas. 

Palmer was a four-year starter at libero for the Longhorns that won three Big 12 Championships (2011, 2012, 2013), made three NCAA Semifinal appearances, (2010, 2012, 2013) and captured the NCAA Division I National Championship in 2012. 

A standout in the classroom as well, Palmer was a three-time University of Texas Athletic Director's Honor Roll recepient, three-time Arthur Ashe, Jr. Sports Scholar, three-time First Team Academic All-Big 12 pick and three-time Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll honoree.

Heavily involved in camps and clubs, Palmer has coached at the UT Volleyball Camps, All-American Volleyball Camps and Texas Shock Volleyball Club camps in addition to serving as assistant coach for the Austin Performance Volleyball Club.

Palmer was a member of the 2009 U.S. Volleyball Girls Youth National Training Team and trained with the U.S. High Performance Girls Youth program.
