2011 (Senior)

Appeared in 112 sets in 34 matches. She was fourth on the team in kills with 198, averaging 1.77 kills per set. She was second on the team in blocks with 79 total (17 solo, 62 assisted). She also recorded 25 digs, five assists, and two service aces. Wright's 0.75 attack percentage versus Dallas on November 4 set a Southwestern record for attack percentage in a four-set match. Wright was named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll and the SCAC All-Sportsmanship team.

2010 (Junior)

Appeared in 75 sets and recorded 76 kills for 1.01 kills per set while committing just 28 errors in 207 attempts for a .232 kill percentage. Had 33 total blocks, four solo and 29 assisted for a .44 blocks per set average.

2009 (Sophomore)

Played in 119 games this season for the Pirates...recorded 149 kills, 1.25 per game...third on the team in attacking percentage with .247...also third on the team in number of blocks per set (.48) with a total of 57 blocks, 17 solo blocks and 40 blocking assists.

2008 (First-Year)
Appeared in 33 games in 18 matches in her first season with the Pirates...had 42 kills for 1.27 per game and 10 errors in 93 total attempts for .344 attack percentage...recorded four assists, three service aces, and eight digs...posted three solo blocks and 16 blocking assists for .58 blocks per game.

High School
Wright was a First Team All-District pick in 2007 and was a two time Best Blocker award winner (06-07) for the Colonels at South Garland HS.

Personal
Taylor is the daughter of Steven and Beth Wright...has one brother - Hunter and one sister - Sarah.  Taylor is a communications major with a minor in economics.
