2011 (Senior)

Despite being injured for much of her Senior season, Thompson was named AVCA All-South Region Honorable Mention, All-SCAC Second Team, and she was named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll. She was second in the SCAC in blocks, averaging 1.33 per set, which led Southwestern and aided SU in a top 25 blocks per set ranking. Thompson was fifth on the team in kills with 180 and led in total blocks with 108. She set an SU season record this season with 1.33 blocks per set. Thompson ends her career at Southwestern with four career Southwestern records in the rally scoring era: Total blocks (554), Solo Blocks (152), Block Assists (402), and Total Blocks per Set (1.51).  

2010 (Junior)

Appeared in 133 sets for the Pirates and led the team in kills (354), kills per set (2.66), and was second in kill percentage (.277). Thompson was also the block leader, recording 149 on the season (47 solo, 102 assisted) for a 1.12 blocks per set average. For her efforts Thompson was named SCAC Player-of-the-Week for September 13-19, was All-SCAC First Team and All-South Region First Team. She also earned an AVCA All-America Honorable Mention selection and was member of the SCAC Fall 2010 Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll.

2009 (Sophomore)

Played in 118 games this season for the Pirates...second on the team in kills with 367, 3.11 per game...first on the team in attack percentage with .348...recorded 74 digs, .63 per game...first on the team in blocks with a total of 141, 1.19 per game with 39 solo blocks and 102 blocking assists...named to the SCAC Fall 2009 Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll...First Team All-SCAC selection...AVCA Division III South All-Region...AVCA Division III All-America Honorable Mention.

2008 (First-Year)
Appeared in 122 games in her first season with the Pirates...was third on the team with 292 kills, 2.39 per game...had just 74 attack errors in 610 total attempts for the highest attack percentage among regular hitters of .357 percent...posted 44 assists, 43 digs and 4 aces on the season...recorded 38 solo blocks and 107 blocking assists for a total of 145 blocks, 1.19 per game...AVCA Division III South All-Region...SCAC Freshman-of-the-Year...All-SCAC Second Team.

Thompson was a Second Team All-District pick in 2008, was on the Most Improved 2007 and the Coaches Award in 2008 and was an Academic All-State selection (2008) and an Academic All-District pick in 2007 and 2008.

Lindsay is the daughter of Tyre and Karen Thompson...born on June 18, 1990...has two siblings - Landie and Aidan...is a kinesiology major.
