2011 (Senior)

Nicholls was named AVCA DIII First-Team All-America following her remarkable play during her Senior season. Nicholls ended the year ranked 16th in the nation in assists per set, averaging 10.64, less than one assist behind national leader Ashley Maher of St. Thomas (MN). She was the leader on the court for the Pirates this season while statistically leading in assists, was second in service aces and fifth in blocks. Her sensational senior season was evidenced by the numerous awards accumulated throughout the year. Nicholls was named D3VB Player-of-the-Week on November 2nd, SCAC Player-of-the-Year, All-SCAC First Team, and AVCA All-South Region First Team. Nicholls was also named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll. Nicholls also ended her career as Southwestern's all-time career leader in assists in both rally and side-out scoring with a four-year total of 5,462 assists.

2010 (Junior)

Nicholls posted another strong season in her junior campaign, leading the Pirates in assists with 1321. She appeared in 139 sets for 39 games for a 9.50 assists per set average. Nicholls was also fourth in blocks with 42 (10 solo, 32 assisted), averaging .30 blocks per set. She was third in service aces with 28. Nicholls was an All-SCAC First Team selection and All-South Region First Team as well as being named as an AVCA All-America Honorable Mention. She was member of the SCAC Fall 2010 Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll.

2009 (Sophomore)

Had an outstanding season for the Pirates playing in 124 games...had 50 kills this season, .40 per game...recorded a total of 1,323 assists this season, 10.67 per game...had 31 service aces...second on the team with 367 digs at 2.96 per game...3 solo blocks and 41 blocking assists...First Team All-SCAC selction...AVCA South All-Region Honorable Mention selction...and named to the AVCA DIII All-America Honorable Mention team.

2008 (First-Year)
Played in 136 games in her first season with the Pirates...had 52 kills on the season, .38 per game...had just 17 errors in 203 total attacks for a .172 percentage...recorded 1429 assists at 10.51 per game...had 42 service aces, tied for third most on the team, for .31  per game and just 26 service errors...compiled 347 digs at 2.55 per game, 3 solo blocks, 36 blocking assists for a total of 41 an .33 blocks per game...had eight blocking errors and zero ball handling errors on the year.                       

High School
Nicholls was an Academic All-District pick three years in a row (2005-2007), was a First Team All-District selection in 2007, in 2006 was a Second Team All-District pick and she captained the team in 2007 while garnering MVP honors for the Trojans of Anderson HS in Austin, TX.

Christina is the daughter of Carl and Molly Nicholls...has four siblings - Andrea, Maurice, Lourdes, and Alyssa...is a Psychology major and a Chinese minor at SU.
