Women's Tennis Defeats McMurry 9-0

ABILENE, Texas – The Southwestern University women's tennis team defeated McMurry University 9-0 in a Saturday morning match.

Cecile Wilde and Esther Bowers took a hard-fought doubles match 9-7, defeating Samantha Ritz and Kaitlyn Roberts. Mary Cardone/Mariana Quetzeri and Nina Elez/Sara Le each won their sets 8-1.

In singles competition, the Pirates took four of the six matches in straight sets with Esther Bowers defeating Clair Huffine in three sets.
