LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) today announced its sixth annual spring All-Sportsmanship teams. A total of 51 players were selected to the 2014 squad in the sports of baseball, men's golf, women's golf, men's lacrosse, softball, men's tennis, women's tennis, men's track & field and women's track & field.
Last year, the SCAC office developed and introduced a new sportsmanship-themed campaign, "Cheer Hard, Play Harder, Respect Everyone," and created PSAs and videos that were distributed throughout the conference. These pieces continue to be played during conference-produced video-streamed championship activities and have also been promoted nationally through the NCAA Division III Twitter account and Facebook page.
Of the 51 honorees, 23 earned All-SCAC recognition in his or her respective sport during the 2014 championship season.
