Softball

Max Kettler joined the Southwestern softball coaching staff in August of 2019. Kettler played baseball in high school for a travel team in North Carolina called the Stewards of the Game. Due to a shoulder injury, Kettler had to stop playing baseball, but he ended up coaching with the Stewards of the Game organization for two seasons.

He then moved to Texas and played college golf at both Stephen F. Austin and Louisiana Tech. In College, Kettler reached his best ranking of 1300 in the WAGR (World Amateur Golf Rankings) and had 3 top 10 finishes in college play. Currently, Kettler is studying Government and Sociology at the University of Texas with a 4.0 GPA and is a part of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity. 

 Ketter parents are Brian and Tracy Kettler and he has one brother, Josh Kettler
