SEGUIN, Texas - After a strong weekend, junior outfielder Lindsy Biggers and first-year pitcher Cozette Palmer were selected to the SCAC All-Tournament Team. 

The team was voted on by the SCAC coaches and announced by the SCAC conference office during the SCAC Championship game Sunday. 

Biggers led the Pirates at the plate, going 7-13 for a .538 batting average over the weekend. She scored twice and drove in one rone while successfully stealing twice. In the field she had seven putouts with no errors for a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. 

Palmer took on the bulk of the work  on the mound for Southwestern, starting three games and appearing in all five contests. She posted a 1.85 era in 24.1 innings of work. Palmer allowed six runs, five earned, on 18 hits while walking six and striking out 15. 

Southwestern ended their run in the championships with a 7-0 loss to Trinity and close the season at 18-20-1 overall.
