GEORGETOWN, Texas - Lynchburg started scoring early and never let off the gas to hand Southwestern a 17-1 loss Monday evening. 

The experience of the Hornets was obvious as they controled every aspect of the game. Ronni Winter scored the only goal for the Pirates, scoring on a breakaway late in the second half. 

The loss drops SU to 4-3 on the year and they finally return to the road after a four-game homestand to face Guilford College on Friday at 3 pm.
